Galle UNESCO world Heritage City

Galle, About one hour drive in the highway from Colombo is world famous for at least 2500 years for its important habour and lately the well preserved Dutch colonial fort. Named by UNESCO as a World Heritage City Gall has served as a important hub in the busy maritime trade routes in Asia for millenniums. Around the city of Galle world famous beaches such as Unawatuna make it an ideal beach paradise.
